 Full text | Abstract: The possibility of obtaining dibutyrylchitin porous fibres with a sufficiently high tensile strength for textile medical application by using the wet spinning method, was evaluated. Ethyl alcohol as a solvent for the polymer and as a component of the coagulation bath was applied. Boundary conditions for forming dibutyrylchitin (DBC) fibres of the assumed porous structure and strength were determined. |
