Full text | Abstract: This work investigates the influence of the navel and rotor type on the tenacity (cN/tex), elongation at break (%), mass irregularity (CVm), total number of imperfections (IPI), hairiness (H-value), and twist difference values (ΔT%) of viscose rotor spun yarns. Twelve samples using six different navels and two kinds of rotor with a different structure of rotor grooves were produced. The nominal count was 20tex and the nominal twist value 800 twists per meter. Statistical assessment based on one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the TukeyHSD test was performed at a 95% confidence level to study the effect of independent parameters and their interaction. |
