Full text | Abstract: In this study, a new approach to job and personnel assessment for the apparel industry is presented. The purpose of this new approach is to evaluate both qualitative and quantitative data at the same time. For this purpose, evaluation of the linguistic data is based on fuzzy logic application. Necessary criteria essential for job and personnel assessment were determined by academics who study textile and psychology. Numeric data used in the study were evaluated with recent data and specially designed software called “Work Sampling”. The results obtained from this approach were investigated together with company managers and in order to obtain a final result, main criteria weights were determined. Appropriate usage of the final results acquired from the assessment of personnel was discussed. |
