Full text | Abstract: Working in tight protective clothing causes considerable discomfort, because it is impossible to expel high quantities of intensively secreted sweat out of the garment, among other reasons. The sweat accumulates on the skin and on the internal surface of tight clothing. Research work was undertaken with the aim of developing materials containing superabsorbents, which are characterised by high sorption capacity and dynamics, and could be applied in protective clothing structures to absorb sweat. The paper presents the results of research concerned with the development and testing of the liquid sorption of nonwoven materials designed for sweat-absorbing inlays. |
