Full text | Abstract: The textile and clothing sector is one of the most competitive and high value-added sectors of the Turkish economy. Its advantages include qualified labour and an integrated structure which includes all the processes starting from obtaining raw materials through to delivering the goods to the consumer. This means it can win an important share in exports, employment and gross national product. Despite the contribution of this sector to the economy, in recent periods, significant difficulties have occurred due to global competition. |
