Abstract: Results of research in the preparation of nonwovens containing chitosan salts used as a binding agent are presented. The supermolecular structure of chitosan salts was assessed by the use of wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS). The crystallinity degree and crystal dimensions were examined. Morphology was assessed by means of optical microscopy.
